Q How many years passed between the discovery of Aquilops fossils and the dinosaur’s official naming?

The fossils of Aquilops were discovered in 1997, but the dinosaur was not formally named and described until 2014.
Initially, it was at one point identified as another dinosaur, Zephyrosaurus. As a result, it took many years before Aquilops was recognized as a distinct species.
