  • A Above both eyes and on top of the nose
  • B On the top of the skull and on both cheeks

A Above both eyes and on top of the nose

The most distinctive feature of Ceratosaurus was the three horns on its head.
It had one horn above each eye and another on top of its nose.
The nasal horn was particularly prominent, reaching about 13 cm (5 inches) in length. Some theories suggest that the horns were used in combat with rivals or to attract mates.
However, their exact function remains unknown.
